Music education for the whole child
Violin, viola, and chamber music lessons for young musicians and adults
Danielle Charboneau’s violin, viola, and chamber music studio works to build an environment that supports all students’ abilities to grow from the very beginning stages through advanced levels of musical fluency and mastery. Whether younger Suzuki students or older hybrid or traditional students, all students develop the skills necessary for fluency and easeful expression, including advanced technique preparation and mastery, reading, theory, informed musical decision making, and practice strategies necessary for problem solving and growth. At the same time, all students enjoy a supportive environment and community of joyful engagement while discovering a belief in their ability to bring more beauty into the world with their playing and their presence.

Teaching programs
The Suzuki method is a tool for educating the whole child with the guidance of the teacher, the support of the parent, and the interaction with other children. In the musical environment built by the adults around them, students develop musical skills necessary for instrument mastery, practice skills necessary for ownership and self direction, and the belief in their abilities that gives them the gumption to explore, learn, and enjoy.
Traditional studies exist in this program as the widening scope of possibility for advanced and advancing violinists and violists within the context of their practice strategy, repertoire, and independence while maintaining the belief that all children can learn, skills build most easily on the mastery of other skills, and family and community support make everything easier and more joyful.
Groups of 2–5 students come together in weekly coachings, each student on their own part, in chamber groups as a tool to help students develop a deeper experience of music, critical thinking skills, independence, ownership, the communication skills necessary for teamwork, and to add the excitement of playing with friends.
